Meet Shannon Deao

Shannon Deao is a professional makeup artist who has worked in television, commercial, film, print and celebrity press events for over 15 years.

Hi! My name is Shannon Deao and I am a professional makeup artist. I work in many different capacities of makeup artistry with a focus on television, film, commercial and press events within the entertainment industry. I attended college in California, where my major was film production with an emphasis on cinematography. I discovered my love and talent for makeup artistry while working on student films and chose to focus on building a career out of it. Flash forward 15 years and I am so happy I made that choice! I’ve spent over a decade enjoying a variety of jobs ranging from cooking shows, celebrity press junkets, large scale commercials, various shows on popular streaming networks and much more!

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I am a professional makeup artist who has worked in television, commercial, film, print and celebrity press events for over 15 years. I worked in Los Angeles for the first 10 years of my career where I had many fun adventures! I currently reside in Portland, OR, where I work on television series, commercials and with an animation studio for press junkets and other promotional press. I adore my career! It is a passion of mine that has brought so much joy and excitement into my life!

What kind of look do you usually love to rock?

Personally, my favorite look to rock on myself is radiant, glowing skin paired with a fresh-faced, sun kissed natural palette. I’m a huge fan of bronzer, mascara and soft eye shadows that brighten & open my eyes without looking too heavy. If I’m feeling extra glamorous, I like to bump that look up with a classic, old Hollywood red lipstick!

What’s your self-care routine?

My self-care routine is daily exercise, healthy eating, dry brushing my body from head to toe before I shower and quality skincare products. I’m an avid eye cream user! The eyes are the window to the soul, so I like to be sure that delicate skin is well hydrated and taken care of. It helps me to keep looking vibrant and youthful! I adore eye oils, face oils, a gentle face cleanser and exfoliant.

What was your reaction the first time you used LUMIFY redness reliever eye drops?

The first time I used LUMIFY eye drops I was simply amazed!! It worked in 1 minute and lasted up to 8 hours! It reduced redness to help my eyes look brighter and more beautiful. I was so impressed, I instantly added it to my client kit.
