Meet Vincent Oquendo

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m a Virgo so I think that will tell you a lot about my personality! I’m also a makeup artist that happens to work with celebrities. I like to think of myself as an artist who brings out my clients’ best selves, so it’s not necessarily about the makeup looks, it’s about finding what makes my clients look and feel their best and bringing that out in them. I like to think of myself as someone who looks a little bit more than what is directly on the surface.

What kind of look do you usually love to rock?

I’m a really big self-care nerd. I’m always on the hunt for the latest in skin care and tools that make me look and feel my best. It’s not always about skin care though, LUMIFY eye drops are my secret to reducing redness to help my eyes look refreshed. I also have many devices to help make my skin look its best and I have a smart-work out machine which is innovative and helps me feel my best as well.

What’s your self-care routine?

I usually will start with a cleanser, a softening lotion, and a hyaluronic acid which I love. If I could bathe in it I would! I schedule routine visits with my dermatologist for skin treatments that help my skin glow, too. Last, but certainly not least, when my eyes are red, I use my LUMIFY eye drops to reduce redness to help make them look whiter – especially on days when I have a lot of virtual meetings or a special occasion.

What was your reaction the first time you used LUMIFY redness reliever eye drops?

My reaction was disbelief because I was so used to the tingling sensation common with some of the other drops but this didn’t tingle. It felt comfortable and the results lasted longer than I expected. The drops started working in 1 minute and my eyes just looked less red and much brighter and whiter. The great thing about LUMIFY is that you put one drop in each eye and it lasts for up to 8 hours.

What’s your favorite thing about using LUMIFY?

My favorite thing about using LUMIFY is how well rested it can help your eyes appear. It’s one of my holy grail products because it can reduce redness in tired looking eyes in as little as 1 minute. It’s a staple in my kit for this reason too. Oftentimes, my clients will have red eyes from traveling and red carpet appearances, so I give them the drops to help their eyes look more awake when they need a little help in the redness department. They love how their eyes look after using the drops.
