Meet Lauren O'Leary

Lauren O'Leary is a professional makeup artist, hair stylist and male groomer.
She specializes in television, celebrity, beauty, and editorial work.

Growing up in Minnesota, she always dreamed of a big city lifestyle and made the move to New York City as a teenager. After arriving in New York, Lauren was determined to sharpen her craft and break into the beauty industry, and she worked as a model and content creator. Lauren takes pride in her craft as an artist and is constantly creating and sharing her work on her Instagram, @laurenolearybeauty. Her passions also include spending time with friends and family, traveling, and taking care of her cat Louie.

Tell us a little bit about yourself!

Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a professional makeup artist, hair stylist and male groomer. I am so grateful for all of the exciting career opportunities I've had so far in my life. I've traveled the globe, worked with a wide variety of brands, and met some amazing people. Some people can't say they love their work, but I truly do. A few stand out moments in my career so far have been working with some of my favorite fashion and beauty brands and taking numerous international trips with clients. I have always had a deep seeded passion for beauty, the arts, and fashion.

What kind of look do you usually love to rock?

I gravitate towards 90's glam and I am all about the 90's supermodel look and old Hollywood glam. I typically wear a lot of black, which really became my normal attire after living in New York City for so long. I also love a classic look utilizing neutral tones. Makeup wise, I typically always wear a lined cat eye liner paired with coats of mascara and a full pouty neutral lip shade.

What’s your self-care routine?

I am obsessed with skin care. I use a lot of face masks, hydrating creams, serums and oils during my day and nighttime skincare routines. I believe having a good, consistent skincare routine is the key to having healthy skin and beautiful makeup, so I pay a lot of attention to what I use on my face. I use LUMIFY eye drops whenever my eyes are red and especially on days when I'm filming a video or taking a photo to help make my eyes appear whiter, brighter, and camera ready. I also take vitamins and I try to eat nutrient rich foods. During warmer months, I like to spend time outdoors and take walks as much as possible. Not to mention, I always try to have a good manicure.
